Sarah gets “glasses” and 365 update

Over the weekend we took the girls to the mall to visit Build a Bear, they had gift cards from Christmas, and were itching to spend them.

While there Sarah and I headed to Claire’s to look for new earrings. She picked out a pair of cute cupcakes and then she spotted the fashion glasses. She had to have a pair.

As soon as she put them on she said, I can see better!

Yeah, Okay. They are FAKE.

But they sure do look cute on her.

I started project 365 a couple days late. But better late than never right?

Juice Boxes

Since these were on sale last week, I bought a couple boxes for the girls to have with lunch.
I noticed the “vegetable” part on the box, but was hoping the girls would not pay attention.
And they did not the first time I gave them one. They thought they were yummy.

The next day at lunch, Emily mentioned something about them having vegetable juice as well as fruit juices. I tried to change the subject, but she still insisted upon reading the back of the carton.

Purple carrot, butternut squash, sweet potato, beet & tomato juice.

And somehow that made the juice less appealing.

{I don’t blame ‘em though, I wouldn’t even try it ;D]

But I did question why, if they want kids to drink it, they listed the ingredients out. HA!

It reminded me of the Chef Boyardee commercials.
