Favorite Food Friday

Do you know of a blog that hosts this? Let me know if you do and I’ll join in. I don’t even know if it’s a real thing or not.  I just needed a blog title (those are so hard to come up with) about one of my favorite foods and today’s Friday. So, Favorite Food Friday. Ha!

Anyway, remember this request?

Well, Wayne came through and made it for the Fourth of July.

And it was oh so yummy!

And kinda made me wish I like milk.

And just incase you want to try and make this yourself here is the recipe.

Sweet Iced Tea

09_14_65---Ice-Tea_web I love sweet tea. It is the best! For those of you who have never had it, and would like to make some, go read this post. It’s funny and will make you laugh out loud.

Go ahead, I’ll wait.

By the way, that’s a new to me  blog & I LOVE IT!

I was writing my friend Leah a little note and in between sips of sweet tea, I started wondering if her Chick-fil-a serves it.

Why would I wonder that?

About 9 years ago we went to Richmond and when I ordered a glass of sweet tea, he went on to tell me it was not on the menu. Oh, okay. WHAT? I thought everyone served this yummy goodness!

Apparently, not.

So, in the middle of Leah’s little note there is a short paragraph on sweet tea where I ask her if she can get it at her local Chick-Fil-A. (Leah, your notes coming. David put it in the mail today)

Then I started thinking about all of you, wondering if you can get it. Have you ever even had it? I don’t have all of your addresses to send you a little note to ask. So, I’ll just be my nosey little self here on the blog.

Do you drink sweet tea? Do you love it? Hate it? How much sugar do you use? Your favorite place to get it?

I’ll go first.

Yes, I drink sweet tea. LOVE IT! I use 1 1/2 cups of sugar. My favorite places to get it, Chick-Fil-a and Sonic between the hours of 2-4

Your turn.

Chicken Broccoli Braid

Chicken Broccoli Braid

 Cooked and cubed chicken
 1 cup broccoli chopped
 1 cup cheddar cheese
 3/4 cup of mayo
 1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp of dill weed (I leave this out)
 2 pks of crescent rolls

Combine all ingredients except rolls. Open and unroll crescent rolls. (place end to end) roll lightly. Use knife to cut “tabs” on each side.  Put mixture in center and braid. Pinch to seal and bake 350 for 20 minutes.

I cannot remember what blog I picked this up off of. If it happens to be you, let me know so I can give you the credit. Plus, I’d like to send everyone by your blog because your picture was much nicer and you had step by step!

This is really yummy!
