They are celebrating the premier of Camp Rock 2 the Final Jam by having mini concerts with a couple of their girlfriends. Seriously.

They just finished singing Hasta La Vista. And now the base is booming up through the floor to this song (which happens to be one of my favorites)

They better be glad their momma likes to listen to her music loud or they would be in some big trouble about right now. Come to think of it, I don’t think I have ever had to ask them to turn the radio down, they’ve always had to ask me.

I’ve noticed here lately that I prefer listening to their music than my own.

I’ve traded my country music for Selena Gomez and the Scene, Demi Lovato, Justin Bieber (who I will admit is growing on me, although I’m not sure I can take one more day of listening to Audrey walk around the house singing, And I was like Baby, baby, baby ooh Like baby, baby, baby noo Like baby, baby, baby ooh) and Jonas Brothers.

Speaking of Jonas, I’m totally addicted to their new show Jonas L.A. I am hooked. Stella & Joe keep me coming back. I have not been this interested in a couple since Ross & Rachel or Edward & Bella HA!

So will you be watching tonight? (we don’t have cable so the girls are actually going to their friends house to watch)

I’m on my no-meat-whatsoever kick again. After watching Food Inc on PBS it is a wonder I’m eating anything at all. I’m just glad it was about animals and not chocolate. Don’t wanna give up my chocolate. HA! I told David, if they would just make one about junk food to gross me out, all would be well, and my hips would be happy.

Anyhoo, I actually gave red meat up several years ago, thanks Wayne!, but continued to eat chicken, but since watching that video, I just can’t do it anymore.

I still cook it for David and the girls though. And just want to add that my weird aversion to meat has nothing to do with saving the animals. I’m just weird. It grosses me out.

A week or two ago David and the girls had spaghetti and meatballs for dinner……….. I wanted some too but didn’t have any meatless sauce, so I threw some red onions & tomatoes in a skillet with some olive oil and my new favorite {that i cook} meal was born.

Do you have any weird food issues? Have you watched Food Inc?

Just a little something funny David said to me last night……….he’s a hoot. Shoot, I can’t remember exactly what he said, he can correct me later but basically…….

He is going to have me locked away if I continue to get crazier/weirder/mental the older I get *snort*

This was after I sprayed a mosquito with 409 {because I don’t like to feel them squish in tissue } and wouldn’t pick it up because I had just washed my hands, and didn’t want to have to wash them again since I was in the middle of cooking supper. To which he replied it is dead, and I replied, but I’ll still have to wash my hands ………

Yes, I’m weird. I’m choosing to embrace it HA!

Blog break —————> officially over. HA!

Who am I kidding, I’ve been doing this for five years, I can’t stay away long.

Whew. Our school year is coming to a close, sooner rather than later. We test at the end of May so from here on out it’s gonna be review, review & review some more.

I am SO ready for this year to be over but looking SO forward to next year. Isn’t that crazy. Mind of a homeschoolin’ momma I guess. Right now I just need a break from it, not so much the learning part, but the teaching part. During the school year, even when we take a day off, school is ALWAYS on my mind. Did we do this? Do they know how to do that? Will this be on the test? Should they know this? yada, yada, yada.

In Sunday school a couple weeks ago we talked about being in a rut, what kind of ruts you get into [job,relationships, church] and what to do about them. I’m here to tell ya, I’m in a homeschool rut! Big time. So, to mix things up a bit we are going to do some unofficial unschooling stuff over the summer. Lots of fieldtrips, lots of hands on stuff, lots of reading & lots of time spent doing what they want to do.

We also have our 2010 summer fun list up and the girls are very eager to get started.

Fun. That was Sarah’s idea. She just wants to have fun. A girl after my own heart.

When do you start summer break? Any big plans?

I don’t want to even think about how many hours of sleep I got between Monday afternoon and Tuesday evening. Lots, I’m sure.

I had another one of those stupid IBS attacks. {have i ever mentioned how bad i detest ibs…if not, just so you know, i HATE it}

For the past two weeks my stomach has given me a fit. I’m not sure what has changed, all has been well for the past several months {since I started taking align}
Then all the sudden, bam, not-so-good-anymore.

Because of all the sleep I got in the past two days, I wasn’t tired last night and ended up staying up until 5 am. I spent the night watching Kit Kittredge, The Proposal, Sonny With a Chance & Wizards of Waverly Place.

Watching Netflix on your television set has got to be one of the best inventions EVER!

I feel the need to change my template again. And I will not. Even though it’s killing me {ha} I go back and forth…… sidebars? no sidebars? really, is it that hard just to put up a template and stick with it? {apparently, for me, yes}

How do y’all go about reading blogs? I have two readers, Bloglines & Google, and it ain’t workin’. I feel like I get in a hurry to read the posts but never hop over to comment. I have a lot saved in my favorites folder too, but I just tried to open over 60 tabs at one time, and it locked up the computer. So, that’s not working either {ha}

I’m thinking about cutting back on the amount of blogs I read/comment on too. It just gets SO overwhelming sometimes. Do you ever feel like this? Blogging is supposed to be fun, and not feel like something to mark off a to do list.

I feel like I got caught up in the whole, I don’t know what you even call it, where it feels like the blog has become a full time job, you’ve got to get more readers, become a reader of everybody and their brother, tweet, fan pages, join, follow, read, comment, blah, blah, blah, blah, and that’s not me. I started blogging to build friendships, to have grown-up conversations with other mommas out in blogland, to see other messy kitchens, and to know that I’m not the only one who has a bad day, or messes up constantly, build friendships with other like-minded mommas.

Anyhoo, I ramble on, with no point at all.

Oh, if you link here, stop by to read, or laugh, will you pretty please let me know. I would really love to come by your blog for a visit. Just this week, I ran across (thru my site meter) two blogs that link to me and I ADORE their blogs! And have added them to my never ending blog list
