I give You Random & a Bieber Video

Friday night my niece and nephew spent the night with us while mom & dad went on a little date. The girls are always up for a sleepover, so as you can imagine, much fun was had.

My younger sister is finally here! We were able to stop by and see her on our way home Saturday evening. She is here for a month. A MONTH! Can’t wait to get together with them again and I hope to get lots of pictures of Miss Lilly.

Sarah woke up Saturday morning with a little dry cough. It got a little worse throughout the day, she kept holding the cough in, saying her throat was “stopped up” Other than the cough, she felt fine, no fever or stuffiness.

Sunday morning was an entirely different story. Whatever she has hit fast, and the poor girl sounds awful! She had a hard time sleeping last night with all the coughing. We may be making a trip to the doctor tomorrow. She is complaining with her chest hurting {right above her belly}, but I think that is just from all the coughing she did in the night.

We were up and dressed yesterday morning for church but decided to keep her home.

I pulled the camera out to get a picture of Emily & Audrey in all their cuteness.

Audrey is counting the hours down ‘til tomorrow. Justin Bieber. Never Say Never. She is beyond excited. We are going with her little girlfriend from church & her mom. I hope for our sakes (us older girls) there are not too many girlies there, I don’t know if I could take all the squealing!

Okay, I may squeal a time or two as well since he is starting to grow on me {although he is no Edward ha!}  My sister was telling me they had a life size thingy of him, I’m planning to take my camera so I’m sure we’ll have pictures to share.

I remember being this age and all the “famous” crushes I had, buying the magazines so I could cover my walls with all the little posters. The two Coreys , New Kids on the Block and Bon Jovi. There were many more but those were my favorites.

So, do tell, who was your Hollywood crush?

Today Was a Big Day

Sarah had a doctor’s appointment this morning, her well-checkup, for age five.

We’ve not had to go in about 2 years. I forgot that little, bitty babies hang out in the lobby.

Oh, my. Adorable.

I sent David a text…”at the drs office. i want another baby. the end.”

Anyways, the doctor was late getting back from lunch, apparently there were two guys spotted with guns on the school campus right up the road, so they had those on lock down, along with the roads. It was an elementary school. K5 – 5th grade. (sigh)

After the check-up part was over the nurse came back in with 4 shots in hand. Yes, four. She was supposed to get 5, but I opted out of the flu shot. She also had to get her iron tested, which resulted in a finger stick. She screamed. Audrey cried.

But when the nurse told Sarah she could pick out 4 stickers, the tears went away. Plus, she knew we were heading to TARGET so she could pick out a toy.

One in each leg & one in each arm.

At TARGET she picked out a baby doll that sucks a bottle, laughs, cries & goes to sleep.
A pair of Hello Kittly pjs & a pack of Sour Patch Kids candy.

She was still feeling a little bad when we got home. But all is well now, she is rockin’ out in her new pajamas and she gets to sleep with daddy & mommy tonight.

Yes, my kids are spoiled.

Rotten.

Oh, and we get to do this again tomorrow with Emily & Audrey. They were asking the doctor as we were leaving if they have to get shots. He said yes. Maybe two.

And they don’t know it yet, but they have to get a finger stick too.

Ramblings, Project Life & Curls

It’s a cold and rainy day here. I wish it were cold enough to snow. I’d rather have snow than cold rain. At least then you have an excuse to stay inside. Ya know, bad roads and all sounds a whole lot better than, I’m being lazy, and it’s cold and raining, think I’ll just hang out here at the house.

Emily is not a big fan of country music {gasp, I know!}
Yesterday while we were running errands, Audrey asked if I’d play What Hurts the Most.
Emily yelled, NO! Cause if you do, that’s what will hurt the most!

Monk. I heart Monk. And Netflix. Cause they make it possible to watch them all. I’m in the middle of season three right now and last night was kind of a big shock when they replaced Sharona. I love Sharona.

Remember a couple weeks back when I shared {on facebook} Project Life and how I was saving my swag bucks to buy one. Well, shortly after that, they sold them all. And I was not one of the buyers. I checked back daily. Even though she mentioned it would be the end of January before they got more in stock. Then Monday she made an announcement……they were back in stock. So, I went ahead and bought one. The Amber Edition. It should be here today. I’m so excited. I’m behind on scrapbooking and printing out pictures. Sarah has started asking where her baby book is {like Emily and Audrey’s} so, I figure this will be an easy way to keep up with it all. Plus, now I will HAVE to get pictures printed.

Speaking of pictures, I hate being in front of the camera. But I’ve been seeing a lot of talk about self portraits and all, and since I was in need of an updated profile picture, I pulled the remote out yesterday and took a couple shots.

Is that big enough? Can you see it? ha! I told you I hated being in front of the camera.

Okay, how about this one? Better?

I have stick straight hair. I want curly hair. Or at the very least wavy hair. I remember when Wash & Curl first came out I bought some thinking after I washed and dried my hair, I would have beautiful, tight curls. no-such-luck. I’ve thought about getting a perm. But I don’t think my hairdresser would go for that. HA! So, I will stick to creating tighter curls with the curling iron.

A couple of you mentioned you were going to order that lens, were you able to get it? Can’t wait to see what pictures you are able to get.

Are you getting rain? snow? You can just keep it to yourself if you are getting nice, sunny weather. teehee {my sis and her hubby like to tease me when they are in the mid 70’s}

Do you have Netflix? What shows are you watching?
