Kidney Stones & Pictures

What’s up Buttercup?!

Sunday morning, I found myself in pain, really bad pain.
After a trip to the ER it was confirmed, that yes,  I have a kidney stone.

This is my third.

It’s still hanging around causing problems. The other two attacks have not been as bad as the first one, so I’ve just managed the pain here at the house.

I hate kidney stones. It will not hurt my feelings if I never get another one.

Poor Sarah & Audrey cried seeing their momma in pain. Audrey almost passed out when I started throwing up in the hospital. It’s funny to hear her explain it. I think it scared her more than anything.

Emily was there too. She didn’t look up from the game she was playing on her ds. Not because it was taking her mind off of my pain, she was just that  into her game. Nothing phases that girl.

I’ve gone through 2 bags of Hershey Kisses since Sunday. They comfort me. And make it all better.

The following pictures were taken with Wayne’s lens. {I can’t remember which one it is} I couldn’t figure it out when I played around with it. While I was resting Monday David took a couple pictures with it.

I don’t know if he took this one with the lens or not. But someone was asking about the pink door awhile back and I never posted a picture. So, here ya go.

My computer is being stupid. In the middle of typing the cursor will move to another spot in the post, deleting what is already there and put the new stuff in. (sigh) Any idea why?

Hope to get around to visit with y’all today!

Sweet Shot Tuesday

I am the world’s worst when it comes to keeping up with all the photography memes out there. But I found a little plug-in that will hopefully help me with this little memory problem of mine.

While catching up on blogs, and seeing everyone’s Sweet Shots I realized today is Tuesday, and I’m not too late!

This is Mason. The nephew who gets to hang out with all the lovely nieces when we get together.

I took this picture last week when the weather was amazing perfect.

It has since turned cold.

Be sure to visit Darcy for more sweet shots.

Sweet Shot Day

{Somewhat} Back To Normal

We are all well. And no one else shows signs of getting sick.

Except for the “Bieber Fever” that Sarah claims she and Audrey have. Silly girl.

We did school today. That’s a big deal around here considering the past couple of weeks.  Only a few tears were shed over math today. Then giggles as I told the girls I didn’t “get” math until I was in my 20’s. And I still have trouble in the kitchen trying to figure out fractions & how many pints, quarts, cups, ounces in a gallon. Thank goodness for measuring cups.

My younger sister is in town for the next month. We are SO excited to have her and Miss Lilly here. We were able to get all the younger cousins together on Friday for a much needed play day.

After a morning of playing at the best playhouse ever, we headed out to the lake. {perfect weather}

We have another beautiful day here in NC, the high is expected to get up around 75 degrees! Right now the girls are outside playing American Girls. I hear them running around outside calling each other by their “play name” laughing and having a good time.

I’m terribly behind on my blog reading and hope to get caught up with y’all in the next day or two.
