Sweet Shot Tuesday

One of my favorite places to be is the beach. I love the beach. In fact I want to go like right now.

I took this picture back in May while we were on vacation.

I’m too chicken to go up and ask someone if I can take their picture, so I do the next best thing and take it from behind.

Do you take pictures of strangers? Do you ask or just do it? There have been several occasions where I was captured by someone’s face and would love nothing more than to take their picture. But fear of approaching them always holds me back.

  1. I’m the same way – I’m always afraid to ask someone if I can take their picture so I usually take it in a way that they don’t know I’m taking the shot. This is a great shot though…I think I like this perspective.

I chicken out, too. Sometimes people are fascinated with the camera and other times…well, they can get a little cranky (not unlike my sons!).

    Lovely capture!

Yes, I take stranger pictures… people are so very interesting and unique. I got a great lens from photojojo that shoots at a 90 degree angle using a mirror. It’s incredible. It’s not unethical, and it certainly shows how amazing and diverse our world is.

I love how you’ve framed the beach image with this guy and his incredible locks!
