Sick of Feeling Bad

The past few weeks have been, well, kinda, sorta, terrible.
It started off with Emily getting sick and running a high fever.
Called the doctor, they thought she might have the flu.
Ended up taking her to the doctor and they are pretty sure
she just had a virus since she never developed a cough.

Never heard of that, but okay.

Then Sarah got sick. Same thing.

Then I got sick.

Sarah and I were sick at the same time, so David, bless his heart,
took time off work to play doctor.

Everything got back to normal.
Then a couple days later I got sick.
Again.

Felt better after a few days.
Guess what?
I got sick again.

I’m beginning to think maybe I have some sort of infection.
Bladder maybe.
I was also thinking it could be West Nile.
David doesn’t think so.

I have an appointment tomorrow.
So, we shall see.

I’m sure it will be the typical doctor visit.

I’ll tell him my symptoms and then
proceed to tell him what I *think* I have.
(because I did my own research on the internet)
He’ll sit and listen, nod his head, write a couple
things down…….then tell me what I actually have.

Do you ever wonder what they have written down on your chart?

I’m sure mine says something like………….

HYPOCHONDRIAC

written across the top in BIG red letters.

I took this picture back in July at Wayne & Tabitha’s wedding.

Where did summer go?

The other day I was taking down our summer list
and was kinda sad we were not able to
finish everything we wanted to do over the
summer.

Several of the things on our “summer” list we did not
get to do because of the heat. I mean, who wants to
picnic in the mountains when it’s HOT outside. I know I
don’t.  Which, I don’t like doing anything outside, hot
or cold. So my vote really does not count.

We decided that just because summer has ended,
does not mean we have to give up our “list” we can just make
one for fall too.

The girls are already talking about how much
fun we will have doing this or that. We’ve never
done the Corn Maze thing, so we are all looking
forward to that.

On another note. One of the things I am looking
forward to this fall is…..November 20th…
anyone know why???

I’m beyond excited!
Wonder what it is about this series
that brings out our 15 year old selves??
