I know she’s mine.
And that all mom’s say this.
Can’t help myself.
she is …..
so.stinkin’.cute.

I took this the other day. It’s almost like she has her timing perfect. She had the cutest little smile on her face. As soon as I clicked the button she made this face.

For the past couple of months we have had a couple trespassers.
This here is the ringleader.
He has three little followers and they roam around our neighborhood leaving eggs and piles of poop.
Right now he is out behind the house doing whatever it is roosters do.
The first time he came by, it was just him, and it was kinda fun. He jumped up on the deck, walked around, got up on the table, then flew off. The girls had the best time watching him, we even threw something out for him to eat…..he reminded us of the little chickens in Cinderella pecking around.
He would come back and we would run to the window and watch him.
Then he started bringing his friends with him. And they make a mess.
It is no fun to go out in your own yard and realize that you have just stepped in a pile of chicken poop.
So, now when we see him & his friends, we start yelling, knocking on the windows, telling them to leave, and sometimes, Emily will run outside and chase him off.
Nothing has worked.
The still come back.
Everyday.
I have NO clue what we are gonna do when we start showing the house, which will hopefully be soon, because no one is gonna want to buy a house that comes with chickens.
And cows.
Oh, have I never mentioned the cows.
Who leave bigger piles of poop by the way.
Yes, we have cows that come into our yard too.
David has to chase those off when they come around, which thankfully, has not been in a long while. But I’m sure once it warms up and our grass starts growing, they will return.
And I’m sure it will be on a day, when someone is looking at the house, and trying to decide if they should buy or not. And they’ll look out and see the chickens & cows and decided that living on Green Acres really isn’t for them.
At least the skunk family is gone.
