Well, make that many, many, many, many, many, years ago.
I hate getting old.
Last week I had David scan some pictures from way back when.
Some of you may have seen these on facebook, sorry for the repeat, but I don’t have anything to blog about this morning. And since I’m off break I thought I’d better get something posted.
Yes, I know, I’m a little cutie!
The little dress I have on in this picture is hanging in the closet. Each one of the girls wore it and stupid me didn’t take pictures of them in it.
Yes, again, I’m cute! See those canisters on the counter? My great grandmother gave them to my mom as a wedding gift, and they now sit on top of my cabinets. Love them!
This is my kindergarten picture. Look at those red tights. Might have to get me a pair to wear now.

I’m pretty sure this is 4th grade. I remember this outfit. I remember that I had to wear panty hose with it. all.day.long. Which is why I hate panty hose now. Why I refuse to wear them. Why I don’t make the girls wear ‘em. It’s pure punishment! There are not many girly girl things that I hate, but this is one of them. That and the whole shaping of the eyebrows….
Oopps! Got my pictures outta order. When Emily & Audrey saw this picture, they had a fit. They wanted to know why maw maw let me wear a shirt that showed my belly. They said I wasn’t very modest. So, I’m guessin’ I need to keep all the pictures of me from 16 – 19 hid.
Again, outta order. Sorry, I’m too lazy this morning to go back and rearrange them.
But this is Christmas morning, not sure of the year. But look at my sweet, girly bike. This is the kinda bike I wanted to get Emily & Audrey. David said, no. They got little bmx style bikes instead. (which they love be they way)

Oooo! It’s the fabulous banana seat bike! I had one just like it! I’m going to have to find a picture of it now because it looks like it’s the exact same color too! I loved that bike! Banana seats are the comfiest!(sp?) I’m right there with you on the panty hose thing. When I first got to wear them I was thrilled because I felt just like a grown-up but now I never wear em. They are the most awful itchy uncomfortable things ever!!
How’s your day been? We have an appt for Titus to see the allergy/asthma specialist today. And I don’t know if I told you, but we put Peanut up for sale b/c we think Ti might be allergic to her. Well, someone called about the ad today and I’m soooo emotional about it! Who knew that a hairy little dirty yapping dog could break my heart! If it turns out Ti IS allergic we will definitely get rid of her but if not, I can’t help thinking maybe we should tell this girl who called about Peanut that the dog isn’t for sale anymore. Tim will kill me for changing my mind constantly. Anyway…. Love ya!
Okay, so, now I don’t feel so bad. . . I don’t wear pantyhose either. HATE HATE HATE them. I am glad I am not the only one.

Great pictures, I just love to go back and look at old pictures. And those canisters my mom has the same exact canisters in her kitchen.
Thanks for sharing those pictures! I am so thankful that God gave whoever created the photo(sorry I probaly should know this info) the thought “Hey we should be able to capture our memories somehow”. Makes me want to go pull out some of my old pics!
