Catching Up!

Boy, what a week.

We need to get in about 5 more days and we are FINISHED with school! Emily and Audrey both tested well on Friday and I am so glad to have that behind us.

I ended up having to take Sarah back to the doctor on Friday because she was still running a fever. Turns out she has a double ear infection. It’s amazing how much better she felt after getting in a dose of antibiotic.

I am home again this Sunday with Audrey. She started with a fever yesterday and just felt yucky all day long. She started feeling better about an hour ago and if her fever breaks in the next couple of hours, we will head on to church. Our revival meeting starts tonight, so we have a long, but good, week ahead of us.

Computer Break

With end of year testing on Friday, I have decided to shut the computer down for the next couple of days. It has become a big distraction to me and the girls.

I’ll log back on Friday and catch up on all of your blogs, but I will not be back here until Monday.

Until then.

Do you have a home management binder? Do you follow a schedule?  Do you have certain days of the week you clean or do laundry? Do you schedule your hours or block schedule (morning, afternoon, evening)

I’d love to hear your ideas. I am NOT an organized person. I make out my schedules and lists, only to lose them in piles of clutter. There are so many changes that I want to make prior to next school year but I have no idea where to start.

Okay, I’m an idiot! I was gonna post a picture of Sarah that I took the other day. She was so CUTE! I went looking in my many folders for the pictures I downloaded off my camera before I deleted them. Guess what? I didn’t download them before I deleted them. They’re gone! Right now I don’t really care about Sarah’s picture. Emily and Audrey’s picture from Sunday was on there! Yes, I need to get organized!

ClearPlay

I just wanted to mention to you about our new vcr dvd player.  (I keep calling it a vcr, David and the girls keep reminding me we are in 2008)

A couple of weeks back I ran across ClearPlay, and I am SO glad I did! This is a wonderful thing for our family.  We read the review for every movie before we decide if we are going to watch it or not. (A great resource is Plugged In ) And I have had to say no to so many movies that I want to see because of language or inappropriate scenes. This neat little dvd player cuts all of that out!
