Yep, I do! Look at all the neat little things I have been able to do around the house while trying to decorate on a small budget.
Bookshelf ~ this was in the school room full of books junk, it was an oak looking color. I spray painted it black, put red paper in the back (as you can see I ran out of paper) and moved it into the living room. I’m hoping to find red, but not too red, photo boxes to replace the green ones. Emily painted that little birdhouse on the bottom shelf years ago.
I have spray painted a couple of frames and have many more to do. When we bought this one it was red and at first I was going to put a b&w picture of the girls in it. I decided this past Saturday that it would be fun to do something like our key holder (pic below) to put on the piano.
David bought me this little table right after we were married. It was also oak but I thought I’d spray paint it and put it in the living room. (It had been in the bedroom)
I’ve also painted baskets. These are fun! And a lot cheaper than buying them at the store. I have thought about picking some up at goodwill or Salvation Army and painting those different colors as well. I just have not had the time to do it.
I know I’ve showed this before but I still think it is just so cute!
