Last night I was going trough some of my favorite folders on the internet and ran across a website that I had saved many, many months ago. After looking around the site awhile I ran across this link ~ The Organization School Course ~ Curious, I clicked on it ~ It is the neatest little thing, an online course for organization. I told David last night I was going to be doing school on the computer (heehee) As time permits, I am gonna start looking more into this. Any of you, that know me, know that I lack in this area! I am the most unorganized person and I married the most organized person in the world! Our house, for the most part, is always turned upside down. One of my biggest problems is throwing stuff away! So, our house is one big clutter of mess. I also do not put things where they belong (which is why I can’t find my glasses right now) I have gone through the house looking for a pair of shoes before~ looking under the couch, under chairs, by the door, in the bathroom ~ EVERYWHERE! When I ask David, have you seem my such and such shoes, he will tell me ~ they’re where they are supposed to be ~ the closet ~ And right there they are. It seems that I can never find anything if it is “where it is supposed to be” why ~ because half the time I don’t put things away and I have no system whatsoever! I think it is in me because I have the desire to be organized, to get on some sort of schedule but I just have to discipline myself to do it ~ yet another area that I lack in ~ discipline!
I remember a couple of years ago; After listening to Sandra Felton on Focus on the Family one afternoon, David came home from work and told, he thinks he finally understands me! (When it comes to messes) I can’t remember all that he said, but he did tell me that he used to just think I was lazy until he heard what she had to say. Incase you did not know, I am a Messie too ~ David is a Cleanie ~ To him a pile of stuff on the counter is a big mess ~ to me it is where I keep my notebook, pens & pencils and important papers ~ He cleaned it off on Saturday and instructed me that my notebook has a new home, on top of the fridge! I ended up reading her book Messies Anonymous a couple of years ago but even that did not help! My one Mount Everest turns into like five and before I know it I am so overwhelmed I forgot what I was even doing. For instance, what started out as an innocent attempt at switching winter and spring clothes turned into a huge disaster this past Saturday! I had clothes and boxes everywhere, in my bedroom, the girl’s room and the living room! I got so frustrated that I just threw it all back in my closet and shut the door!
So, dear friends, any tips? Anyone want to join me?

Weekend Reflections

We had a wonderful weekend! The weather was nice, almost too hot, if you ask me! Anything below 75 is too cold and anything warmer than 75 is too warm (heehee) Emily had her first soccer game and they played really well. Emily’s team is all girls but 2 boys and the team they played against was all boys but 1 girl. Needless to say the teams are uneven and I think they need to do a better job dividing them up. The final score was 2 – 0 (we lost) but it could have been a lot worse; the other team was that good. I don’t know if I mentioned or not who Emily’s coach is….. but he is one good looking guy! At the last minute David was called and asked to be the coach of her team. On Saturday he told me that he like being the head coach, it was more fun than being the assistant.
David and Audrey took a load of junk to the dump while the rest of us girls went to Wal-Mart. (this was the worst part of the weekend) I told David it is easier taking all three of the girls to get groceries than just one or two of them. Emily did not have Audrey to talk to or play around with, so I constantly had to get on to her for acting up or she was talking my head off! This is a bad thing, because I have to focus while shopping, or even with my list, I forget half of the things I need to pick up. Then there is my sweet little Sarah, who decided to point her finger at everyone and yell, NO! This seems to be her new favorite word. She has said it all weekend long. It is her answer to everything. Sarah come here, NO ~ Sarah stop, NO ~ Sarah give it to mommy, NO!
David’s mom came over for dinner on Saturday night and if I may say so, it was the most wonderful meal! David grilled out chicken and steak and I fixed a couple of veggies to go with it and this yummy cheese sauce! Loaded full of calories I am sure!
The youth choir sang yesterday morning during the worship service and we put Sarah up on the stage with Audrey and she was the cutest thing! She did really well; better than I thought she would. I wish I would have thought to bring our little mini camera!
That was pretty much our weekend! You can join in with Judi from Mommy of Two if you would like ~ Since I am now password protected it is kinda hard for me to participate in all of these fun things because when I comment I can’t just leave my password information. But I thought this one looked like fun and I really did not need to leave a comment to let them know I was joining in
)
Happy Friday
We have had one busy week! We have gone somewhere every single day and I am so tired. But the weather is nice out, so we are gonna head out to the park later this morning. David is getting off work early today and the girls are so excited. We should be back by the time he gets home.
David signed us up for Netflix last night and we are hoping to get a movie in to watch this weekend. He told me what he put on our list but I was half asleep and can’t remember what he said. I *think* one of them is Pillow Talk! I can’t wait to watch it again! We saw it several years ago, right after we first got married. I remember it being a cute little movie. I have had me a list going for a couple of months now ~ here are a couple that I have ~ I don’t think David will care for most of them

(i know this one seems kinda out of place among the rest of them, but I love this movie!)
Well, if we are gonna go to the park I best get off this computer and start getting ready!
