Ya’ll wanna hear about my Saturday trip to Wal-Mart? Sure ya do! Well, first I will need to give you a little background information.  When David and I first started dating I always dressed up. I would even go out and buy new clothes for every date we had including shoes and earrings! My make up always had to be on! Fresh coat of toe nail polish and lip gloss always a must! Sometime I would even fork out the extra money for a set of hot pink Lee Press on Nails!   Fast forward about 10 years and three kids later! David has been after me to go out and buy new clothes for I don’t know how long, well, 15 months! I have it set in my head that it will not be too much longer before I am back in my pre preggo clothes and I don’t want to waste money on clothes I really do not need (I really DO need them) Now a days my daily attire is not even close to what is used to be~ too baggy pants, sweat pants and sweat shirts! ( I did end up going out a couple weeks ago to buy a some nice outfits)  So, what does all of that have to do with my trip to Wal-Mart? Well, I was able to come home and let David know that even in my “mommy clothes” and messy hair crammed under a ball cap ~ this girl’s still got it! I was not hit on once BUT twice by two men at Wal-Mart! Does it really matter that the first man looked to be about 50ish and not had a bath in like six months?  Every stop I made to look at the cereal, he was right there to talk with me and even showed me his new dollar coin ~ he was so proud of that thing!  Next stop, frozen foods. This man stopped me (also probably about 50ish and not bathed) and asked me in a very friendly voice if I would share my grocery list with him! The he started grinning from ear to ear and the man had NO front teeth!  

Of course, David got a big kick out of this! And it only went to further prove his point ~ that I do indeed need to not only buy new clothes but I need to wear them as well!

Speaking of my sweet and handsome hubby! Remember him in your prayers ~ he may be having problems with his appendix. He will find out more once his blood work comes back tomorrow
