Protected: Audrey’s Tooth

Audrey. First of all, I just love her to pieces! She lost her first tooth yesterday! She was not expecting it and was surprised when the dentist handed it to her. Even then I don’t think she realized what happened until she looked in the mirror.  Her permanent tooth was coming in behind her baby tooth, which was not loose at all, so he took care of it yesterday. She knew she was going in to have it looked at and meds put on another spot that had an infection. After he loaded her up on more “sleepy juice” he said, you’re gonna feel some tugging and pulling and then it was out. She was so excited! I thought she would be a little upset that she did not get to wiggle and jiggle it out herself but she was actually a little relieved that she would not have to pull it (or have daddy put her in a headlock and pull it out)

You really can’t tell by this picture that’s she missing a tooth because of how big the new tooth is ~ but we wanted to share anyway ~

Cleaning House

Emily & Audrey spent the night with my mom last night so it is pretty quiet around here this morning. Well, except for the sound of this new little grunt that Sarah has started making! I did not realize until David mentioned it ~ she sounds like Curious George when she wants something! How is it that one little sound can wear on your nerves so bad it makes you think you are going crazy?

We have a whole list of things to get done today!  We have laundry to wash, floors to sweep, dishes to wash and put away, furniture to dust and the list goes on and on! David and I have differing opinions of housecleaning~ His being CLEAN and well ya’ll know mine~ I posted this awhile back but just incase you missed it ~

MY PHILOSOPHY OF HOUSECLEANING!

I don’t do windows because …
I love birds
and don’t want one to run into a clean window
and get hurt.

 I don’t wax floors because …
I am terrified a guest
will slip and get hurt
then I’ll feel terrible
( plus they may sue me.)

I don’t mind the dust bunnies because …
They are very good company,
I have named most of them,
and they agree with everything I say.

I don’t disturb cobwebs because ..
I want every creature
to have a home of their own.

I don’t Spring Clean because ..
I love all the seasons
and don’t want the others
to get jealous

I don’t pull weeds
in the garden because ..
I don’t want to get
in God’s way,
HE is an excellent designer!

I don’t put things away because …
My husband
will never be able
to find them again.

I don’t do gourmet meals
when I entertain because ..
I don’t want my guests
to stress out over what
to make whenthey invite me
over for dinner.

I don’t iron because …
I choose to believe them
when they say “Permanent Press”.

I don’t stress much on anything because …
“A Type” personalities die young
and I want to stick around
and become a wrinkled up crusty ol’ woman!!!!
