Thankful Thursday

Today, I attended the second session of the “for women only” bible study. We had such a great meeting! I am really excited about the many things I am learning and putting them into action. As we get further along in the study it will be harder for me! As David and I have already had a “conversation” on one of the chapters and let’s just say it was not a pleasant one. So, by the time we get to that chapter I am hoping that I understand “my man” more and not over react (again)

In keeping with my study this morning my Thankful Thursday will revolve around my sweetie! (my list could go on and on but I will keep it short and sweet)

I am thankful for having such a wonderful husband, who loves me so much.

I am thankful for all the help that he gives me around the house.

I am thankful that he provides all of our needs and most of our wants.

I am thankful that he is such a wonderful father. He adores our 3 girls!

I am thankful that he always makes sure there is gas in the van, so I do not have to stand out in the cold.

I am thankful that he never complains about how messy my bathroom is!

I am thankful that the girls and I are always at the top of his list.

I am thankful that I can go always go to him with any fears that I may have and no matter how silly they are he is always there to listen.

Most of all I am thankful that he picked me to be his bride!
(LOVE YOU)

Hope ya’ll have a wonderful Thurday!
Love, Michelle

I hope to share more on today’s meeting later.

Little Women

This past year for Christmas, Emily gave me “Little Women” on dvd. I really enjoy watching this movie with the girls and hope to do so today once Sarah is down for a nap.
Here are a couple of my favorite quotes from the movie ~

Amy: Do you love Laurie more than you love me?
Jo: Don’t be silly! I could never love anyone more than I love my sisters.

Beth: I know I shall be homesick for you even in Heaven.

Jo March: I find it poor logic to say that women should vote because they are good. Men do not vote because they are good; they vote because they are male, and women should vote, not because we are angels and men are animals, but because we are human beings and citizens of this country.
Mr. Mayer: You should have been a lawyer, Miss March.
Jo March: I should have been a great many things, Mr. Mayer.

Beth: If God wants me with Him, there is none who will stop Him. I don’t mind. I was never like the rest of you… making plans about the great things I’d do. I never saw myself as anything much. Not a great writer like you.
Jo: Beth, I’m not a great writer.
Beth: But you will be. Oh, Jo, I’ve missed you so. Why does everyone want to go away? I love being home. But I don’t like being left behind. Now I am the one going ahead. I am not afraid. I can be brave like you.

Jo: Will we never all be together again?

New Blog

I ran across a wonderful blog! If you get a chance head over to Charming The Birds From the Trees and take a look around.

Happy Wednesday to you all!
